Dr Liyana Dhamirah bt Aminuddin began her medical career in 2007 after graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of the Art of Obstetrics (MB BCh BaO) from National University of Ireland followed by her housemanship at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
With almost 20 years of experience in the medical field, she is a specialist in Internal Medicine with Dermatology as her subspecialty. Her passion for skin health began early in her career, with more than 15 years of experience and involvement in aesthetic medicine and skin health.
Dr Liyana spent 10 years serving with the Ministry of Health Malaysia served last as medical specialist, before moving to the Ministry of Higher Education, where she spent 8 years as a Consultant and Lecturer. Her diverse experience in clinical practice, academia, dermatology and aesthetic medicine has shaped her holistic and evidence-based approach to skin health.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr Liyana is passionate about helping people understand and care for their skin with confidence. She strongly believes that “healthy skin signifies a healthy mind, body and soul.” To her, healthy skin is not simply about appearance—it is an important part of overall well-being and self-confidence.
